Complaint Review: Houston Affordable Limo Service - Missouri City Texas

I called to book a party bus for my daughters surprise 17th birthday party three weeks in advance. We were scheduled for a 15 passenger party bus. The bus was scheduled to pick the girls up at 6:15pm and to take them to dinner then back home. I was told on the phone that the service would cost $239 for drop off and pick up. On the day of the event I was told that the cost would be $285 with only a 3 hour window, and they would only accept cash. This should have been an immediate red flag, however I thought it was just a misunderstanding on my part.

At 5:15p the day of the event. I received a call from the owner notifying me that the driver was stuck in traffic and the ETA would be 7:15pm. I was very upset, this was a surprise party. Guest were already in route. However, we made adjustment and changed the dinner reservation. At 7:15pm there was no party bus! The birthday girl had arrived and unfortunately it wasn't the surprise we had planned for. At 7:20pm we received a call from the driver stating she had just dropped the other party off and was now in route to us. I had to call and push back the reservation again. Thankfully they had no other reservations and could still accommodate us. The driver arrived at 8:00pm. She was very apologetic and stated the owner gave her another route at the last minute. Totally disregarding our reservation and any care about pushing or time back. We were dropped off at the restaurant at 8:30pm. The driver instructed me to call/text her 15-20 minutes before we were ready. Which I did at 9:45pm...but there was no answer or response. I texted the owner at 10pm and he responded that she would arrive at 10:30pm. Then at 1030pm...No Driver. Received another text saying she should arrive at 10:45pm. The driver arrived at 10:50pm. When she arrived the girls got on the party bus...my daughter runs to my vehicle to inform me that there was alcohol on the bus. All of the party guest were 17 and under. This was unacceptable! This should have been checked. Luckily my daughter did the right thing by notifying me. The bus driver  explanation was that she was on her way to pick us up after receiving my text but the owner called her to meet him so that she could drop off another party. Again...total disregard for our party and our reservation. My daughters night was totally ruin.

Her guests, their parents, and I were all inconvenienced!! We spent 3 hours in total waiting on the party bus!! More time waiting then actual time in the party bus. The party bus wasn't actually a party bus either. I was more like a van! The TV didn't even work! I called the owner on Tuesday after I was able to calm down. He offered to give us two free hours on our next rental. I told him we would never use the company again and would need another offer. He said that was all he could offer. BUYER BEWARE!! Stay away from this company. You definitely get what you pay for. Don't let them ruin your special night! My daughter will never get that night back and the owner had not sympathy for that. This is not how you run a buisness!!
