HOWARD JOHNSON HOTEL LAS VEGAS STRIP Didn't stay in the room and they wouldn't give me my money back Las Vegas Nevada
Me and my family went there on Saturday June 28th 2008 and had the worst experience ever. I paid 77.39 for a room with two beds. Once we went up to our room we werent satisfied beacause the room was very hot and too small. I had an extra person with me that wasn't planning on staying. We weren't even in the room for 15 seconds and we get a phone call from the front desk asking for more money due to an extra person in the room.
I went downstairs and told the front desk person I wasn't happy with the room, so he told me that he would give me my money back, I said ok and I went to tell my family that we werent staying in the room. We all made our way downstairs and once I was with the agent he began treating me very badly, because I mentioned to him that I once stayed at a howard johnson hotel and it was nothing like this. It was a lot better. He got a nasty attitude and told me and my husband that he didn't want us there. My husband told him to just give us our money back. He then told my husband to go outside or he was going to call the police.
My husband was walking out already and the agent blurted out"YOU F***ING f*g" to my husband. I got angry and told him that he was out of line and to give me my money back. He then said that he wasn't going to give me my money back because we were causing him to lose business. I was angry and told him to give me my money back. He then told me to leave or he was going to call the police. He then said to tell everyone to go outside and for me to have a seat and calm down. That is exactly what I did. He made me wait as if he was going to give me my money back. I waited and nothing. He said he called the police and when I was there they never came. He began laughing at me with some other employee dressed in all black.
My husbands grandma comes inside and says what is going on in spanish, are they going to give you your money back? They then said no that they were also going to charge my credit card an additional $125.00. I was infuriated. My husband's grandma only speaks spanish and told them that is an injustice to take peoples money. They then began yelling at my grandma in law and telling us in a very violent voice to leave. I then told them, "if we don't what are you going to do"? The guy dressed in black tells me in spanish, "I will pop you with a needle"? He says this to me because I am a little overweight.
I get furious and tell him that I should tell my husband to kick his a*s for disrespecting me. This is after they really pushed my buttons. I never ever get to this point. I was so angry and tired from driving all night from LA to Vegas and it was 1 am. So I decided to leave and count my losses. I told them that I would sue them and that they were indeed going to know who I am. I think that nobody should ever experience such. Hell it was my Grandma in Law's first time in Vegas, and it ruined our entire weekend. The next day we stayed at the (((competitor's name redacted))) it was a lot better.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. Why deidn't you jsut leave? When he threatened toc all the police, YOU should ahve called them and then told the police he wont give you your money back. I think you made things worse.
