Hp will be very willing to include a warranty with your electronic purchase. They are also more than willing to sell you an extended warranty for pretty much any product they make.
If something happens and you try to collect on the warrenty, they will find any excuse, any excuse, they can to avoid honoring the warranty. They may then charge more than the item costs to fix it. All the while their automated message telling your (useless) warranty is about to expire pops up so you can send them more money for another useless warranty.
My Hp Pavilion g7 went in to get a number of items fixed. The computer is less than a year old and already has multiple issues. They found a small recent dent on the back and declined to fix anything even though all of the issues except one were prior to the dent. For a fee of 150% of what the computer cost new, they would fix it. . . You can't talk to them or reason with them - it is a system designed to extract your $ while providing as minimal of a service as possible.
Hp warranties are a rip off. They will take your money and run. Unfortunately, to many consumers are going to find this out after the fact.
