I fell behind on my car loan due to sickness, losing my job. I've been working here and there to make sure that I could catch up on my car loan by using tax refunds, etc. I had an arrangement to make a payment, but I was waiting for a check to arrive, and it was lost so I had to have everything reissued. I called the company twice to let them know that there was a problem with my check and I pushed back my agreement twice letting them know the situation and they agreed. I caught up on my default payments after receiving the check. I paid them over $1,000 to catch up. I went to make my normal payment and saw and extra payment which was required over $150.00. I called and they stated that I owed them reposession fees. I asked them how do I owe you fees when my car was not repossessed and I did everything necessary that I could to pay this bill up to datel. They said that it was added for reposession charges. I want to know how can I get this charge off it I made arrangements and paid my car up to date minus the charge that the keep telling me that will get paid off in the end, when I know they are probably adding interest to this? Does anyone know how I can resolve this matter?
