I have been banking for 15 years, our bank Hudson River Bank and trust has recently been taken over by First Niagara Bank (New York)

I have appealed to the Customer service team and branch manager for about a month now.

On 2/21 I made an ATM deposit to my checking acct, bank was closed due to holiday. They did not credit my account until sometime on 2/22 because they claim they must first verify funds.

They were closed monday, but they managed to debit my account several items during that period of time, incurring fees in excess of $196 which then catapulted because I lost my job into fees of $560 for paid charges or checks.

I explained ingreat detail how down and out I currently am due to my health situation and unemployment. There is absolutely positively no consideration given for backdating the deposit and stopping the domino effect.

KIMBERLI ADAMCHIK THE MANAGER HAD THE NERVE TO QUESTION THE FACT THAT I MADE PURCHASES WHILE IN THE NEGATIVE - I HAD TO EXPLAIN TO HER THAT MY CHILDREN STILL NEED TO EAT AND THAT THE 560 IN FEES I HAD TO PAY WOULD MEAN THAT THEY WOULD NOT!!!!

I think this bank is a joke, would never recommend them to ANYONE unless you have a whole lot of money to burn.
