Humming Bird Medi Spa Humming Bird Medi Spa, Private Clinic Centre Street Calgary Humming Bird Medi Spa are big on selling skin care and laser hair removal packages. I paid $1800 for this package. I only had two appointments worth $200. Then suddenlty they closed their operation. No notification was given that my appointment was cancellled. The phone was out of service. After calling around I was redirected to the owner of the medispa in Ottawa. When I called her she gave me a sob story how the CRA was on her case. I was offered no refund. Humming Bird Medi Spa is a fraudulent company. Do not get suckered into buying their treatment packages. As you can see from my experience they are a big rip off Calgary Ottawa
Humming Medi Spa pressured me into purchasing a skin treatment and laser hair removal package for $1800. I finished one appointment with one of their visiting doctor and two treatments costing about $200. I was scheduled for one my third appointment when I realized that their phone was disconnected. Nobody called to cancel my appointment or explain what had happened.
I did not know the name of the doctor so I could not contact him to find out what had happened. I called the other spa's around town and learnt from one of them that the Humming Bird owners were in Ottawa and so I contacted the owner. I requested a refund for the spa services that I never received. The owner on the phone informed me that I was mis-directing my request. She informed me that the CRA was after her. She asked me to call the investigating tax officer and gave me a number to call. It turned out that the number she gave me was out of service.
Humming Bird Spa is a rip off spa. I got ripped off $1600. Beware of getting sucked into purchasing their treatment package deals. They should be placed on the fraud list.
