IADT Pittsburgh RIPOFF. Credits earned here aren't worth a dime. Won't transfer. Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
I recently transferred to a four year college from the Justice Technology program at IADT. I'm having the same problems all of my classmates are having. I was told, and have paperwork in my possession advertising this program as an associates level program.
When I went to transfer I was told by the largest criminal justice college in Pennsylvania that they never heard of IADT and would have to look into transfering credits. I completed over 90 credits at IADT (Why we have to take 106 credits for a diploma when a bachelors degree is only 120 is INSANE)!!!!!. Now I'm told by my University that they won't accept any credits earned at IADT Pittsburgh because the program does not meet accreditation standards as a private college.
I've contact 9 other programs in PA area and have been told that they DO NOT ACCEPT credits earned at IADT Pittsburgh's Justice Technology Program. I've had to take the same courses over again and wasted nearly 15,000 dollars on an education that means nothing.
Then, the best part...I left in my fourth semester. IADT Pittsburgh tried to bill me for a full tuition. They want me to pay for 3 semesters that I won't be attending. AND... They demanded that I return a peice of crap Dell Laptop and Evidence Kit that they already billed my checking account for.
These people are crooks. The other students are right. Don't attend IADT Pittsburgh. You will be ripped off.
