I was lured in this scam by way of an internet advertisement about a stay-at-home mom from my hometown who has made a lot of money through ICM Websites. It even stated that she had been on the Today Show telling her story. The investment was only $2.97 to cover postage for the packet that would be needed to get me started and would be sent out immediately. Less than 2 days later, a $139.95 debit hit my checking account. I received a call a week later from someone who introduced himself as some kind of specialist that was going to assist me in building my website. He talked for over an hour about the process and finally told me that the cost would be in the thousands.
He told me that he could help me build my website faster than if I did it myself. When I told him that I was not interested, he then started reducing the cost. I told him that I had already been charged $139.95 and was not able to do what I thought I was supposed to be doing on ICM's website according to the advertisement. I called the help line yesterday to try to get some answers about this business, my name and number was taken and I received a call the next day from a different specialist who began with the same spill as the first specialist. My husband passed away prior to me clicking on that advertisement. I had hoped that this online business was on the up-n-up and I could supplement my income at this much needed time. However, I was gravely deceived and now I want my money back.

internet advertisements.
2. Client is directed to a sales landing page to enter preliminary
information, in which there is a link at the bottom of the page to
the Terms and Conditions of the signing up for the program.
3. Then the customer must provide their credit card information on the
secured payment page and must agree to the terms and conditions, that are
conspicuously displayed no more than 80 pixels from the order submission button.??
Regardless, if this customer is not satisfied with the product, the charges or the customer service, Internet Cash Machine, as a customer service gesture will assure that this customers account is terminated and no further charges will be conducted on their account by our office.
