Within two days of sending a copy of my rip off report to both IDT and Verizon and IDT supervisor came to my father's house along with a Verizon technician. Four hours later the problem was repaired. The problem which was outdoors had never been addressed by Verizon. Even though they had said they had come out to inspect the trouble they never had Thank you

Clarification Verizon's technician had called saying he could not find the house so how could he have seen and said the phone problem was inside when he never was at the house in the first place. In addition I found a broken green wire of the red green pair on the interface outside the house which I repaired. Several hours later the phone began to work and then stopped working. Let us assume after the repair I made the CO reset the line. That is an outside problem not inside. If it happens again where could the problem be? (Where is Dr Spock when you need him) And if it always happens after a heavy rain than moisture may have a bit to do with it. Maybe a bad terminal post. Maybe Verizon is trying to sabotage IDT?
