Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We purchased the iGPS watch phone at the beginning of this year for my sons birthday. Based on the website it seems like the watch had a lot of really cool features. Upon receiving the watch we first noticed how many features that were promised do not really work as described, with many not even a function of the watch at all. First, the GPS tracking would show my son at home when he was at school over 15 miles away. To say that the product had poor battery life would be an understatement. Leaving the watch in a dormant state on his wrist, it would still only stay charged a couple hours at best.

I reached out to the company both by phone and email for weeks and never received a response of any kind. Not too long after, the watch became completely unusable only flashing on and off constantly. I had to get very aggressive with follow up emails and calls before I finally heard back from a representative to resolve my issue. They asked me to send the watch in for repair which I did. I paid $18 to have it shipped to them. I asked about being credited back for the months of service fees I was paying while not being able to use the product along with my shipping fees. After being haggled by the iGPS representative over a few bucks, he agreed on a very "generous" $11.xx credit. I had paid over $60 in fees over this time period between service and shipping to have it repaired, but did not want to continue arguing over a few dollars.

They send the watch back to me repaired. Within two weeks it broke again with the same flashing on and off issue. Again it took multiple emails and calls before getting any kind of a response to which they asked me again to send it in and have it swapped out for a new watch. At this point I was fed up with the whole situation and demanded a full refund for the faulty product and the 8 months of service fees I've been paying all while receiving very little use out of the watch. They simply reply with "since you are out of your 14 day grace period, no refund will be issued." The only solution they have offered me is to send the watch in again for a replacement this time. Why would I want to continue paying for shipping and wasting more time to get a product already proven twice to me is faulty and does not deliver on what is promised based on the website?

Why would I want to continue working with a company that is so difficult to get a hold of when these issues arise and so unreasonable in admitting fault and credit them back for the money they've stolen from their customers? This is not only the worst service I have ever experience from a company in my life, it is downright theft. I have now paid in well over $250 towards a product and service that has halfway worked for me for maybe a total of a month. As of now iGPS watch has canceled my subscription and left me with a completely broken and useless watch phone and they refuse to acknowledge any of my attempts to reach a reasonable resolution with them. I am out money and they couldn't care less.
