ihire.com ihiremarketing.com, ihiresalesperson.com Job Posting 30 days Old and Filled; Hiring Company Did Not Post Internet
I found what appeared to be a great job opportunity through beyond.com that was listed on one of the ihire.com family of websites. They asked for a $1 payment for a trial membership in order to apply, but boy am I glad I checked them out on ripoffreport.com before paying!
Rather than risk my credit card info with a shady operation, I contacted the hiring company directly. It took several phone calls, but when I spoke with the lady in HR that posts jobs, she said that we have never posted a job on an ihire website AND the real job posting was made a month ago and is now filled.

You are absolutely correct, not all jobs found on the iHire sites are posted directly by a hiring manager. One of the features of our Premium Membership is job aggregation. We work hard to collect job openings posted across the internet in order to save our members time during their job search.
I’m sorry to hear that the position you were interested in turned out to be filled. We are constantly working to verify that the positions we collect from other sources are still actively posted where we retrieved them. Strictly based on the description of what happened, it sounds as though it may have been an issue of timing as to when the position was filled and when it was actually taken down from its original site.
