ILD Teleservices Strikes Again deceptive company Internet Internet
Today as I picked up the mail for the restaurant I keep the books for, I looked throught the Verizon phone bill and found charges from ILD Teleservices and specifically ILAB INET. I spent about an hour on the phone with Verizon, who finally had me contact a different number within Verizon that appears to be permanently busy. So I called the 800 number listed for ILD Teleservices. They informed me that I needed to call yet ANOTHER 800 number to ILAB INET. They informed me that the service was discontinued and they would enter the phone number into a block status. They even provided me with a great little cancellation number. I will be interested to see if this really stops this. I have to wonder how this kind of thing can continue to happen even though they have obviously made a very bad reputation for themselves. For anyone that wishes to know, the contact number that I was given that claimed to cancel the service was 1-800-485-5250. Hope this helps someone.
