IMG, Inc. Donna Goodman Bad Mortgage & Marketiing Leads New York, New York
I had a very similar experience as written by a "Donna" in Arizona. As an independent Mortgage Broker, I paid out of pocket $3K for absolutely worthless leads to contact new home buyers. Not a single lead panned out.
In fact, several contacts were very angry that I called and asked how I received their phone number. They claim they were looking for a home loan many month prior and told me never to call them again. I asked Barbara Goodman for replacement leads (as promised by the contract), which never materialized.
Later, she was conveniently out of the office, and then was in the hospital for a long, long time. Her "staffers" no longer answered the phone and only intermittently contacted me via e-mail, which soon stopped.
I suggested I stop by their office to say "hi" and they claim they were soon moving the office and if I came by, the would call the police (?). Not sure why, as I was unduly polite with them.
My mortgage broker friend who steered me to Donna said he threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau and Donna told him he was a bad mortgage broker who blamed him for his own bad sales skills. He told me to drop the issue, because he was "scared" about what Donna might do.
