As a fellow Christian, I wanted to apologize for the type of education you received. That is definitely not the type of education anyone should have to deal with especially in the Christian community. If you are still considering a Christian education, specifically for your teenager, how about considering Denver Lutheran High School? This is where I went to high school (Class of '96). It is a school of less than 300 (freshman-senior) and has small class sizes (average of 15 per class) with a long list of extracurricular activities included. They don't beat around they bush. It is a very caring, Christ-centered community and their main focus is preparation for the real world. Their website is www.denverlhs.org. Tuition is a bit high, but it is well worth it. I want to wish you the best as you continue to search for a quality Christian education for your kids!
