This has been copied straigt from the inbox dollars site and is my other trouble ticket with them. Please read and draw your own conclusions. thanks Topic: Ticket #: 00076154 Status: CLOSED Posted: SEPTEMBER 8, 2006 08:36 PM Hello, I have not received credit for the following offers that are over a month old: Ebay 8-1-06 Eversave 7-30-06 Lightspeed panel 7-30-06 Survey Networks 7-30-06 Could you check on these for me? Thanks much. Susan -------------------------------------- Customer Support Susan, eBay requires that you create a new eBay account through our link and then bid on at least one item. If you were already an eBay member in the past, you would not be credited. Is it possible that you completed these offers through another site for credit or with the Offer Provider directly? They will not credit us if you have already completed in the past. Please see IV. OFFERS 1. Terms of Offers in our Membership Terms: http://www.inboxdollars.com/?p=terms Users may complete an Offer only if they have not completed the Offer in the past, either through InboxDollars, any other Website, or with the Offer Provider directly. Users will not be credited for completing an Offer if they have already completed the Offer in the past. Best Regards, Member Services Specialist InboxDollars Member Services Department ------------------------------------ suvobr These were all new sing-ups for me. Thanks. suvobr And I also bidded on at least one item. ----------------------------------------- Customer Support Susan, I'm sorry, but these offers do not give manual credits. If you were not credited, that means we were not credited either. Some offers are credited within 1-5 business days, however, others can take up to 30 days. As our Terms of membership indicate, "we do not credit members until we are credited". Best Regards, Member Services Specialist InboxDollars Member Services Department ------------------------------------- suvobr I understand. I was just contacting support because that's what the site instructs to do after 30 days. Everything you told me is plainly posted on your site. I created this ticket to investigate why they are not crediting us. ------------------------------------------ Customer Support Susan, The percentage of Offers that do not get credited is very low. If members not being credited was a common issue, InboxDollars would not be in business. But yes, as stated in our Terms of Membership: If we do not get credited for an Offer, then we cannot credit you. There are a couple of reasons for an Offer not credited: If you were already a member of the site, or another possibility is that your computer is infected with spyware. One of the features of several spyware applications is to "hijack" transactions. Meaning, when you click through our links to complete an offer, the spyware application destroys our tracking information and rewrites their own - so they get credit for the transaction and we do not. If you think this might be the issue, please run a spyware scan. On MOST Offers, we can send the information to the Offer Provider and receive manual credits. However, this happens to be an Offer that will not give manual credits. Remember, it is in our best interest to get credit for you, since we would like the credit also. I understand your frustration and I apologize. Unfortunately, there is nothing further InboxDollars can do at this time. Best Regards, Member Services Specialist InboxDollars Member Services Department ------------------------------------------- suvobr You said, "This happens to be an offer that will not give manual credits." I contacted you about 4 offers. I wanted to make sure that you saw all four of them. I know that spyware is not my case and that I do not recall previously being members of those Four sites. My spyware scans have been clean for months. I am only contacting you again to make sure that you checked on all my offers because of the way you phrased your words. Also, I thought the full extent of your check would be checking with the site themselves to see if if your referral qualified by not being a member before. I guess you do not know this because you are not telling me that I was previously members of those sites. You are only telling me that that COULD be a reason that I was not credited. Perhaps you should check on your links to these four popular offers because that COULD be the reason, too. I didn't contact support to tell me things I already have read on your site. I know possible reasons why an offer might not be credited. I created a ticket because inboxdollars says after 30 days to do so. I didn't know that was posted so I could get the terms of membership read to me. I have not been credited for 6 of 25 offers. That is not a very low percentage. Makes me leary of trying any new cash offers. -------------------------------------------- Customer Support Susan, Actually, you should let us know after 5 business days. There are some offers that will not go through the manual verification process, therefore, there is nothing we can do for all four of these offers. Receiving credit for 6 out of 25 offers is very rare. Please read the reply above, and be sure that you have checked all of the following. Although we cannot credit you unless we are credited, we do try to help you determine why. Best Regards, Member Services Specialist InboxDollars Member Services Department ------------------------------------------ suvobr I have copied and pasted the following directly from your F.A.Q. section: 7. I completed an Offer, but have not been credited? Most of our Offers will credit to your InboxDollars Account instantly; however, some Offers can take a few days, and others up to 30 days to be credited. When your Account is credited for completing an Offer, you will receive an E-Mail notification. Please note that if it has been more than 30 days since you completed an Offer and your Account still has not been credited, then InboxDollars also did not receive credit from the Advertiser. In this case, please create a Trouble Ticket in our Support Center so our staff can assist you. That is what I did. I ask that you contact these sites to see if they can give you a reason why we have not received credit is all. Or may I? suvobr Otherwise, we cannot say that we have done all that we can do to investigate this matter. ----------------------------------------- Customer Support Susan, As stated above, on MOST Offers, we can send the information to the Offer Provider and receive manual credits. However, this happens to be an Offer that will not give manual credits. Remember, it is in our best interest to get credit for you, since we would like the credit also. I understand your frustration and I apologize. Unfortunately, there is nothing further InboxDollars can do at this time. Best Regards, Member Services Specialist InboxDollars Member Services Department --------------------------------------- Customer Support Susan, Please see IV. Best Regards, Member Services Specialist InboxDollars Member Services Department ------------------------------------ suvobr Well then it's a good thing that I hadn't completed those offers in the past (AS STATED ABOVE). So since we are not receiving credit, it is unimportant to know the exact reason why; is that what you're saying? My point in contacting the Offer Provider wasn't really to get a manual credit as it was to see why credit had not been received. As stated above, when you told me that I could not be credited, I just wanted to know why. (Don't get this confused with "possible" reasons why.) Anybody can go through the terms all day and give possible reasons why an offer has not been credited. You don't need to contact support to do that. Please do not quote me any more of your terms. I have read them. You say there is nothing else you can do and start pulling terms out. Old information! I contacted you for new information: the exact reason why I was not credited. If you aren't going to contact the offer provider at all (not to get a manual credit) to verify that their InboxDollars link is working and that I had not been with them before, then there IS nothing more you can do. Most every site has a contact link; the least they can tell you is "I don't know." Putting me aside, isn't important to your other members to insure that the offer providers are doing what they should and links are working as they should so that this doesn't happen to them? So, okay then. You have done all you can do or all they have taught you that you can do in support training. If InboxDollars does not want to pursue this, then that's not your fault. So I guess, the least you could say, too, is, "To answer your question, I don't know for sure the exact reason why you have not been credited." I do not expect a reply. It would seem that you would again be telling me the same thing. Don't waste your time.
