Independence University College AmericaStevens Henager College Charges people for classes they didn't take Salt Lake City Nationwide
I enrolled with Steven's Henager College, ended up being Independence University and other names. I was withdrawn against my will because I questioned where my tuition was going and what it was covering. I did not receive hard copy books only links to books online which were no longer available to me after the 4 week class ended unless I paid for them again, I was provided links to free tutorials because the text book link provided was not for the version of the software I was required to use during the class.
I was not notified that I was withdrawn until the next day when an Academic Dean called me to resolve my concerns and the proceeded to tell me that I was withdrawn from the program and she laughed throguh out the conversation as if it were a big joke. The instructional staff was very hard to follow and most of them were unfamiliar with the software to provide their live and recorded lectures.
I am now being charged a fee to withdraw even though I never made a request to withdraw and I am being charged for a class that I did not take.
Very suspicious if you ask me.
