Industry Model And Talent Studios dishonest lied bogus fraudulent ripoff scam Edgewater New Jersey
I was approached by a young girl at a kiosk in the mall regarding my daughter. My daughter was immediately interested and excited, as she always wanted to try modeling.
We went on an "interview" with the director who sold us a package for $600 that was for a photo shoot and "marketing". I want to stress that we were assured by the director that this was the only cost to us other than a $40.00 fee to purchase the negatives from the photo shoot.
A few days after the photo shoot , as instructed, we were called back in to meet with a second director to select the photos to be used on the portfolio to be prepared and sent to perspective advertising agencies for consideration. it was then that this person asked me which "package" I preferred to purchase?! I was shocked to hear that since I was assured there would absolutely be no additional costs involved.
She went on to explain that indeed an additional large sum would be required for them to proceed, and that without it they could not continue. Devasted, as we're a poor family struggling just to come up with the initial fee, we left the Industry Model & Talent Studio without giving them any more money. All I have is very expensive pictures of my daughter!
