I bought a phone through one of Inphonics websites last May (2005) and was promised 2 ($50) rebates which I have never received. I sent them all the information that they requested and they said that I sent it too soon. I resent in the additional information that they needed to proces my rebates including the bills with the necessary dates. Inphonics says that since I did not RESUBMIT EVERYTHING IN IT'S ENTIRETY then my rebate is null and void. I Have spoken to 2 of their customer service people, two of their supervisors, some dude in India I was referred to and they say too bad, so sad but you lose. I don't accept that and told them today that as far as I'm concerned I sent them everything they asked for and they owe me my rebates of $50 ea.

I have already filed a claim with the FTC and I will be filing with the attorney general and also their VP of customer service at: Liberty Wireless, Robert Goodwin-VP of Customer Service 1601 McCormick Drive Largo, MD 20774.

The way I look at this is that they have designed this process so that the consumer loses. If I lose they gain since they get to keep the money they promised me in the form of a rebate. It's one of the most complained about companies-more than 1400 people have filed complaints about them in the last 3 years. That alone tells you something about this company.
