BOTTOM LINE - Integretel said they would reverse the charges and it would show within 2 business cycles.

Our Qwest bill (new service) was high, so we investigated. The 900 services page says "The following transaction is billed on behalf of INFORMATION SERVICE." Two calls: 900-444-0353(12/16) and 900-444-0357 (12/26) for 2 minutes, $40/each, total $80. Thanks to info I found on this site, I was armed with the right info when I called to dispute. There's an entry from another Qwest customer for an identical charge (same day, number, amount, etc.) I called Integretel's number on the Qwest bill: 1.800.736.7500. They started to give me the spiel about how we downloaded programs, etc. Virtually EXACTLY the same as several folks have written on this website. I informed the agent that we were quite aware of the many complaints regarding this company, as well as the class action lawsuit Integretel settled several years ago. I also told her several times we would not be paying. She gave me a bit of attitude about how SHE wasn't the one billing me. After I asked, she said the call was indeed being taped (good) and that she would refund the $$ and place a block. (?) I also called Qwest to inform them about the dispute, told them about the other complaints I found, and asked them to make an entry on our account. The Quest agent then realized that she's heard a lot about similar charges. Keep reading the other postings... Integretel has been in trouble with the government in the past AND their head guy is on the Board of Directors for an organization focused on ethical billing. Amazing...
