Integretel ripoff Unauthorized phone bill charges for voice mail consumer fraud Boston Massachusetts
Since July 10,2002, I have received charges on my local phone bill from Integretel. I had no idea what this was and contacted my phone company. I have also contacted integretel via e-mail. I had a gentleman call stating his name as "Brad" and that he was an attorney.
I called Integretel back and aasked to speak to "Brad their attorney. I was really angered when the lady I talked to said told me that "Brad was only a representative, NOT an attorney. Why would this man call me and state that? Was he trying to scare me.
Well he really angered me even more. The lady told me that she could credit my account for 3 months, I told her I wanted ALL the money they charged me without authorization. She then asked me if I would like to speak to a supervisor, of course I said yes. She then put me on hold for all of 5 seconds and came back and said they were all in a meeting. Right!!!.
I then asked for a phone number so I talk to her supeervisor. No luck there either. She gave me a mailing address. Now of course I have write another letter and send it Boston Mass. and wait for a response. I feel that this company is blatantly ripping off the unsuspecting consumer, like me and who knows how many more.This company definitely needs to be investigated and compensate all those consumers they have been "stealing" from.

I worked for Qwest Communications, the telephone company for the last 6 months, and I can't tell you how many times I asked people, "Do you have AOL?" And they would say, "No, I don't," And I would tell them, "Well, you are paying for it." You see, Integretel is really AOL, half of my calls were from people wanting to know why this "Integretel" was on their bill, this company will charge your credit card, most of the time without your knowledge, and try to get them to credit your account,and get the money back! The horror stories I was told about people calling them to get credited back after months their credit cards were charged, and how they were put on hold for hours, or disconnected eventually. This company is the biggest rip off in the world, do not ever put those "Download 1200 hours of AOL 9.0 for free" because what happens is, after the time is up they will still charge you, also if your phone number was owned previously by someone who had AOL, we have found it to be charged that way too. Please check your phone bill every month, if you see Integretel usually for $23.99 a month, you are being charged for a service you did not ask for, these are those East Indian's that have taken over AOL, and they will charge you forever if you let them, also call your telephone company to complain, they can put you in a dispute status with Integretel, so you can stop payment, too.
