Complaint Review: Integrity Sales - Glendale Arizona

I am an ex-employee of both Integrity Sales and Integrity Program. I worked for the owner, Robert Spruiell, from the time I was 17 to 21. I started working for him at his telemarketing company, which was based in Phoenix, Arizona and had a branch in Prescott, Arizona. While I was working for him at the telemarketing office, he decided to start a new mag crew, to supplement his larger crew, run by John Tork. I helped start the small crew with my manager from the telemarketing office. At the time I thought it was great. I was 18, traveling, making more money than I ever had before, partying, and away from my family life. It was heaven. Then I got pregnant, was sold, kind of like a new car, from the small crew to the large crew, and made secretary. I had a lot of responsibility to the manager and owner. I knew the owner, Robert Spruiell, personally. I spent time with him, stayed with him in his house, and watched his kids. While I was on crew, I knew absolutely nothing about anything illegal going on. I knew about the drugs and alcohol on crew because it was blatant and the managers didn't care. The legal issues, politics, and fraud are some things that I'm just now beginning to learn about. Some of the people still on crew are my friends. They were my family while I was out there. That happens, the other agents become your brothers and sisters. There was a brawl outside my hotel room one night in Minneapolis because two random guys just walked in my roommates and my door, trying to rape us. We started yelling and the other guys on crew saved us. They beat the crap out of those guys, but they saved us from being raped because we were their little sisters. I loved my life on crew till I tried to leave. John Tork would not let me go home, he refused to give me my money from my books, and refused to let me take my 3 month old infant son home. I was not going to raise him on the road. I actually had to call my grandparents, my 80 year old grandparents!, in order to leave crew. I had to do that in the middle of the day, in secret, when nobody was around. I had to run away to get out of crew. When the crew got to Phoenix, I helped my fiance escape the same way, in the middle of the day with no one around to stop him. We are now 1 year away from crew and loving it. Although we do still talk about it, miss it, and we do talk to some ex-agents as well, who have also left crew. It was our life, It was our family. I am not sad I left. I am sad about what I did while on crew. That was a part of me that I never knew existed and no longer exists. I know where this company is operated from, I know where the owner lives, and on some days, I feel vengeful for the wrongs that were done to me. On other days, I relive the fun times I had, the cruise the company took us on to the Bahamas for Christmas, the money I was making, and the friends who became my family. I loved them-most of them. Mag Crew is a good escape for many people who can't live at home, for whatever reason. It can be a horrible place, but the good times can't be forgotten.
