Intelliflix Extremely poor & slow service, unkept promises, reports of missing DVDs not returned Ripoff West Palm Beach Florida
Joining Intelliflix in early December they promised rapid mailing and wide selection of available DVDs. It tookover a week to receive my first selection, and in 2 months of membership they had only mailed about a total of (possibly) 17 films (my top 10 favorite wanted titles remained at the top of my qeue list for over 2 months and never shipped. Also out of those 17 titles they shipped me the wrong version of the same DVD 3 times, and 1 badly damaged DVD (which was returned). The company kept baiting me to add more titles so that I could receive my "top selections" - and never did. I was constantly sending mail complaints and whenever there was a "problem" disc I also filed a complaint. Now they claim that I still have 2 of their titles "out" and if not received within 2 weeks I will be charges $25 each for those DVDs (amazing, since either title can be purchased for far less than those amount in the market).
I have sent several emails and I only receive the standard runaround. You can review a wonderful consumers' review of their business practices on 'Epinions.com' and that should offer excellent insight to their disrespect to thir customers and bad business ehtics & promises unkept - and how people are stuck paying for services not rendered. One thing is that they at least acknowledged my cancelation of membership, however it looks as if they are still trying to squeeze money out of me for the (supposed) non-returned discs - which is a blatant falsehood tforI refuse to be taken advantage. I have also contacted my Bank (BankOfAmerica) and authorized any "stop payments" to their account. Please reply - Thank you.
