International Electronics Superstore Int'l Electronics Superstore oversells products by 500% of price Sunrise, Florida
My wife and her cousin were at the Sawgrass Mills Mall with two toddlers. Her cousin wanted to buy some headphones so they entered this store, International Electronics Supserstore. The guy make small talk and is very friendly, and they decide on buying some headphones for $80.
However, before they make the purchase he offers them "a better deal," some Sony headphones that allegedly cost $299, but for them, he would leave the price at "only" $175. So they get the "better deal" which ends up being a worse rip off.
As soon as they get home, they go online to find out if the headphones really cost $299 and what a great deal they had gotten, but with a quick search find out the headphones only cost $50 on the Sony website itself, $30 on Amazon.
What a freaking rip off. The store has a no refunds policy so we will try to deal with them tomorrow but I doubt much will happen. In any case, that's not the point, this is such an atrocious rip off I don't know where to begin.
