THE INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION TO ME IS A BIG RIP OFF THE ENTRY FEE FOR 2013 WAS $35.00 A SONG GUESS WHAT THE FEE FOR 2014 IS 25.00 A SONG, WHY/ MANY OF US HAVE BIG DREAMS, THOUSANDS OF ENTRYS HAVE ENTERED, The grand prize went to some jazz instrumental which did not make sense and tell me how many radio stations would play this music, I thought the judges would go mainstream mabey JAZZ was thier cup of tea. they had many catergories from world to rock, country, pop, blues, ect. ect. the prize would be 50.000 for grand prize, and the rest split between the catergories, most of those songs that won would never be played on a commercial radio stations. Long intros. bad hooks, I know a lot of people who enter with radio ready friendly songs they did not get a honorable mention. SOME ARE PLAYING ON RADIO STATIONS NOW, go to thier site and listen to the final winners YOU BE THE JUDGE do not know how many judges there is.
