Internet Treasure Chest ripoff misleading advertising, non refundable investment Internet
The t.v. add sounded great. For $69 I could start my own part time buisness and with time and money develop it.
NOT THE CASE. My $69 investment ended up costing over $1000.
For my $1000 I got a web site no one could find, and after 2 weeks I realised I couldnt put any more money or time into this company.
I told ITC I wanted out. I found that I could not cancel my merchantds account, that they had set up for me at a cost of $500, which was not mentioned in the add, without paying a $300 early cancellation fee .
The $500 setup fee for the merchants acc. is NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER 72 HRS. I am told the only money I am entitlted to back is $69 if I mail back my initial start up kit.
I must also keep my merchants acc. open and pay a monthly maintenance fee, which is automatically debited from my personal checking acc,for 6 months. DONT BUY INTO THIS SCAM! You WILL lose lots of sleep and lots of money.
