I always imagined that I was somewhat intelligent. With the situation I now find myself in, the assessment I have of, above average intelligence, is only a figment of my imagination.
 
 My self made problem began in October of 2010.  At the time, I needed to find the phone number of a business client.  Via an internet search, I came across the name of "INTELIUS SB". 
    
This company stated that "for a charge of $1.95", they could find the phone number I was looking for. So, I used their service and put the charge on my credit card. Then, for some unexplainable reason, the next 14 months I over looked the charge of $19.95 Per month by "INTELIUS SB"  
  
On January 3, 2012 I finally recognized that I had a problem. I called Cardmember Services and  the lady there told me, the best she could do was, possibly stop the January charge and maybe get a credit back for 3 months of charges from "INTELIUS SB".

Then I called "INTELIUS SB". An Indian man answered the phone. I asked to speak with someone in the United States, because I couldn't understand his poor english. After approximately 5 minutes a second man answered and said his name was Stephen. He was able to speak good english.

 I explained my story to Stephen. He told me that he might be able to stop the charges, to come, in January 2012. I asked him about the other 14 months of charges. He said those charges were the cost of the monthly charges I had agreed to. I told him that, at no time, did I agree to any monthly charges and said "he should credit me for all 14 months". I also told him I wasn't fooling around and I'm ready to get an attorney.
 
Then he said he could credit me for 3 months of charges.  I told him, that was a good start, but what about the other 11 months of charges that they had illegally charged on my credit card.
He wouldn't answer my question. I told him to "do what he could" and I'll take over from there.
    
I am not sure what, if anything, I'm going to get back or from who.  I have been charged     $19.95 x 14 = ($279.30) and haven't received any value or refund.

 I see, on the internet, that "INTELIUS" has many customer complaints. How does this company keep operating?
    
 I have learned one, very important thing. Every month, check everything on the credit card statements.
