Homestead billed me for an additional year of services. It was stated in an e-mail and I immediately called within hours ( same day) to have it cancelled. It has been 3 weeks and it is still in dispute with Visa but still no refund. The charge is over $1700.
When I hooked onto Homestead, I paid a one year fee but I was not happy with the "zero" attitude and "zero" service. However, because I am a responsible person, I made a deal to contract with them for a year and stuck it out. This is year 2 and I don't want anything to do with them anymore. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
Hopefully I will be able to get my money back. It is sad to me that people blatently rip people off. They feel that if they hide under a company and do minimal legitimate work, they go away with a conscious like it is "OK". It is not "OK" and shame on them! In my book, the robber with a fake gun gets more respect, at least he is not hiding the fact that he is trying to take your money!
