Islands In The Sun Travel Wizard ripoff tricked and lied to us Nicasio California
Booked dream vacation to Tahiti called breakfast in Tahiti. 6 days in Moorea 1 day in Papeete, paid cash $3,144.00, the day prior ro leaving received urgent call advising us that our vacation hotel was on strike. choice of either cancelling for another time (which was out of the question due to work) or paying anothe 304.00 each totalling 608.00 to same sofitel company but on a different island. What could we do? we paid it. On arriving at destination met 3 other couples also in the same predicament (having to accept a different island) BUT, refused to pay the 608 difference, the company said it would be taken care of.
Now my vacation money is limited and I feel ripped off as neither of the 3 couples in question paid any extra money but we did. what can I do - my payment was on my debitcard. Surely the same rule should apply to all. why should we pay if the other families did not????
