I contacted Ms. McDaniel and arranged to have a Beauty Party. I scheduled a huge facial party for 15 people with food and refreshments and Ms. McDaniel never showed!
I have left messages on several occasions and she will not return any calls.
If you live in the Concord/Kannapolis/Salisbury area and are looking for a Mary Kay representative, I suggest you use someone other than Ms. McDaniel.

I am so sorry to hear that you had such a bad business dealing with a Mary Kay Consultant. That is very rare. I hope that you don't hold it against all of us out there. We don't operate in that manner,well, obviously most of us don't. If you are still searching for a Consultant, I am located in the Harrisburg area and would be happy to help you if you haven't already found one. I wouldn't want to take you from another consultant, As I do work my business using the 'Golden Rule' of doing unto other as I would have them do to me. I wish you the best! True that some new MK consultants give MK a bad name by setting a very poor example. However, those consultants do not last 3 months. So if you want a really good consultant and a good MK experience, make sure they have been consultants for at least a year. Its even better to contact a Director who has proven herself to be professional. Sorry that happened to you. There were probably 10 other consultants in your area who would have been more than happy to host your party! The girl who didnt show, had a potential $500+ sale sitting on a silver platter and she stayed home instead. wow. (These are the ones who get mad at the company and think its a scam. And they wonder why they dont make any money or build a client base) Usually its the other way around. Consultants book 4 or 5 parties a week and its the hostess who usually bails about half the time. I had gotten a baby sitter, cancelled other conflicts on the schedule to commit to this one, loaded my car, drove an hour, and I get there, and no one is home! I had confirmed it by phone several times in the days preceding it too! Its hard to believe, a consultant wouldnt show up. Thats so lame.

Wow, this looks exactly like another report regarding a Sara in NC. How sad that this person is trying to destroy innocent people. Luckily, in the case of Sara, she found out about this report and came forward to show the report as false. I can understand being upset by a company but why try and hurt random people. Although I do not know the consultant this report refers to, I do know that this is practically the exact same post, just with a different consultant stated, as another rip off report on Mary Kay. Please disregard this report and remember, Mary Kay encourages women to be positive, lady-like, and professional in all they do. Mary Kay Ash was a wonderful woman and a great example, read about her if you're not familiar with her life and her beliefs (which women are taught while selling MK). I hope that "Daisy" or "Stephanie", or whoever you are, rethink your actions and update these posts to acknowledge that you were being untruthful and apologize to those who you have tried to hurt without cause!
