Jane Beatty & Company Inc. Failure to deliver T-Shirts on time! Ripoff Boca Raton Florida
I ordered and paid for T-shirts for my elementary school band from Jane Beatty & Company inc. (sportswear). They promised me quick delivery and a good price.
I believed them. I should have checked them out on the net first!
They sent DHL to come get their money up front, and then became very difficult to get in communication. I emailed them over several months and told them that the shirts HAD to come before school was out May 31, 2007.
I threatened them with action and the "owner" responded to me leaving me a message that they were badly treated by the BBB and that their cases were settled and then not updated. That I would be getting my shirts soon.
I repeated in my email that they had to arrive before the end of May or school would be out.
Finally someone from the "Art" dept emailed me back that they wouldn't arrive until at least June.
I have had to refund the students' money out of my own pocket and they won't have band shirts for this year.
It is terrible the way this company is doing business.
They've hurt the children in my schools, and me!

It is now April 2008. It has been more than 18 months since we ordered and paid for our shirts. I kept asking Ms. Beatty to give me a delivery date. She finally did, Dec. 7, 2008. The shirts were not delivered. I told her the children were depending on her, that they had raised the money themselves. It didn't work. She lied to us, and to this date, has not delivered on her promises. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! They'll steal your money and lie to you! juli m Bethlehem, PA

I have tried and tried to reach these people. They insisted on a prepaid order for our school band and orchestra T-shirts. They promised delivery before school was out. Do not order from these people! They lied to me and let down the children! juli Bethlehem, PA
