Jaybella M Photography is owned and operated by Dawn Berger, She took family photos for my us in August of 2014. I recieved a dvd of photo proofs with her logo plastered all over our faces, arms and legs shortly thereafeter. I contacted her immediatley to request that I get what I paid for , my family's images without her logo distorting the photo (i.e. remove her business name from my daughter's face and my husband's arms) She refused to fix the photos and did not return the money that I paid for services that I did not recieve. Beware...

Jaybella M Photography(Dawn Beaver)  has refused to correct the photos . Hire at your own risk! 80% of the photos purchased show her watermark /logo in a way that distorts the image (i.e. on the arms and legs and chest of the subjects photographed). Poor ehtics and poor business practices. Repeatedly refused to correct her mistakes. Very dissatisfied customer.

Client contracted me to perform photographic services of her and family.   Within days, I had the images fully edited and delivered at which time she expressed her satisfaction and happiness with the quality of work I provided.  (This was expressed via a written message in which I have as proof).  The client was also provided a Copyright Release which expressed that "Jaybella M Photography retains ALL ownership rights to the work"  and grants "permission" to the client to use to reproduce, share, publish, archive".   The client expressed no concern over this contract at the time of delivery.

A short time after the delivery and after her informing me of her satisfaction,  she then made a very unreasonable request that I remove my professional watermark from the images and that she was willing to "pay a price" for this. I stated that this is something that should have been discussed prior to our session,  as it is a very uncommon request and one that I could not oblige.  By removing my watermark, my work would be discredited as my own which is not something that any photographer would do.   The client became irate and threatened to file a negative claim.

I have copies of all conversations between client and myself..  as well as the images to discredit her complaint that my watermark was placed in certain areas.  My professional watermark is done in a 15pt font and always placed in the very lower right corner of all images (away from the subjects and done in a way that does not alter nor obstruct the image).
