I brought a 2002 Ford Taurus from this company at the end of Jan 2012. The car would not run 1 week later and emission sticker did not match inspection also drivers power window not working. Took 4 days for them to check car. Repaired vehicle. 2 weeks later I smelled oil burning and cars heater would not work and car was overheating.call Gary (manager) and told him car was a lemon. I want something else. His reply was they can't do that, the car would be repaired. Took 2 weeks to repair. Got car back only to have it break down again 3 weeks later. Car again overheated and shut off. Wouldn't start. Also car smelled of burnt oil. Got it in for service and had to argue with Gary and Kevin in service about car always bein broke and that I will need a loaner car cause I've lost to much work not having a vehicle. Car this time had blown head gasket and valves were burnt and bad rings. Again told Gary I did not feel safe in vehicle I wanted something different. He again said he couldn't do that. I payed 700 down when I got this vehicle and another 1200 over the next month. My bi weekly payment is 189 dollars. They sold this car to me for 13000 dollars. They take advantage of people who are down n out. Don't buy a vehicle from jd byrider they lie and scam people that are down in life. They seem like very far company but that's till they get u too sign all the paper work, then the evil, cheats come out. I can only pray someday they get what they deserve for takin advantage of hard working people.

At most that car is worth 5 grand and that is in perfect condition. In the future take someone with you that knows about cars,also check Kelly's Blue Book on line so you can get and idea what you should be paying.
That whole deal is nothing but disgusting,we are talking about nothing more than crooks,Jessie James without a gun.

There are a multitude of cars and trucks in the shopper newspapers or the regular newspaper for $1900 from private owners . You want to stick with those and make sure that the "owner" is not a shill for a used car lot. If he can show you service records he is probably the owner.
Who cares how old the car is as long as it has been maintained. You would also OWN the car.
Did you have the Taurus checked out by an independent mechanic before you overpaid for it?
I'm afraid that you are stuck with it. $13,000 for any 2000 domestic car is ridiculous unless it has 2,000 miles on it. Don't be a sucker next time. Take the cash you have and see a private owner.
