Jenny Burton - Mcdonald's misrepresentation of loitering Greenland Arkansas
My girl friend was waiting for me to get off work because i have a irregular work schedule hours. She was accused of loitering when she wasn't. My work hours aren't constant so my wife waits on me to give me a ride home we only have one car to drive in. It's about a 15 minute drive to work and we don't always have the funds to afford the driving back and forth from home to work but we barely manage to get fuel money for work. I think store manager should research her facts before making unjustly comments.

McDonald's is a private corporation, not a government enity. They are not bound by the First Amendment and therefore cannot possibly violate it. It seems to me like this resolves to a simple misunderstanding. Why don't you just tell your boss that your wife is out there waiting to pick you up, and that she's not a loiterer?

I also don't understand the crying about only one car and gas money. If it's ony a fifteen minute drive, why can't you just walk to and from work. That would give you more quality time with the girlfriend before you have to see the wife anyway.

Here's a suggestion. A few minutes before you are to get off, call whoever is going to pick you up. That way they don't have to "loiter" for hours, waiting for you to get off work.

"My girl friend was waiting for me to get off work . . . ." "My work hours aren't constant so my wife waits on me . . . ." Let's hope the wife and the girlfriend do not meet! Milan, Tennessee and Greenland, Arkansas are about 417 miles apart--that sounds like more than a 15-minute commute. Is the wife in one location and the girlfriend in another?
