JetForce, Rob Waring Ripoff sells used personal water crafts without titles, doesn't pay the previous owners, never received our Sea Doo and we paid for it Naples & Bonita Springs Florida
Rob Waring who owned JetForce sold our used Sea Doo over a year ago. He buys and sells used personal watercraft. We did not give him the title until we were to get our money. He sold it but we did not receive the money until about eight months later. One day, after many attempts to get our money, we saw our old Sea Doo being towed on the island and stopped the driver. He said he bought it from Rob Waring and was upset he didn't have the title because he was stopped the weekend before by the coastguard and now he can't use it until Rob gives him the title.
We informed him that we were the previous owners and we had the title but Rob Waring did not pay us. After many phone calls, threats and stopping by the JetForce location, we finally received our money and gave Rob the title. During those visits we ran into many unhappy customers with the same problems and a cop serving him papers. Rob has been forced out of his location in Naples for not paying the rent. He now has a new business on Bonita Beach Rd. in Bonita Springs, FL - a Surf Shop. We have even run into several neighbors blocks away from us with similar stories about Rob's business practices. Who knows how many people he has screwed over.
We also bought a new (used) Sea Doo from Rob at the same time we gave him our old one to sell. After he delivered it to our house and we tried it out on the water, we noticed it wasn't running right and the gas gauge did not work. He came and picked it up to take it back and work on it. That was over a year ago and we still don't have it in our possession. We were told by Waring that his mechanic had been using it for parts so he fired him. He again told us we would have it fixed soon. Since that time JetForce has closed down and the cop that was serving him papers at least told us where Waring lives. We have been there and noticed our Sea Doo is in his backyard fenced in. Each time we talked to him during this long ordeal he promised to get it fixed. He is the con-man of all cons! He is an habitual lyer. We've gone to the police but they say it's a civil case so they can't help. We've called code enforcement since he was selling without paperwork, titles, etc. and they told us they've had many problems with him. To this day nothing has been done and I've come to realize the crooks sure get away with things down here in Florida. Especially since he has a new surf shop business! I'm threatening my husband that I will visit this new surf shop and picket the place. Maybe that will embarass him into giving it to us. Trouble is who knows what shape this Sea Doo is in after a year and his mechanic supposidly using it for parts! I'm not sure we want it - just our $3,000 back!
P.S. Last week we went ahead and bought a brand new jet ski from a reputable dealer in Naples and Rob's old mechanic happened to be working there. He came up to my husband and started complaining about how Rob owed him $1,200. My husband alerted him to the fact that Rob told us he was the mechanic that had been using our Sea Doo for parts and that we still did not have that Sea Doo or our money back. With that said the mechanic is now more angry with Rob Waring and vowed to get him back. Get in line son!

Today Rob Waring was finally handcuffed and sent to jail in Bonita Springs, FL. Rob pulled a gun out on my husband and his three friends while they came to Rob's house to pick up our Sea Doo that had been in Rob's backyard for almost a year. We've been trying to get it back from him after paying for it over a year ago and him saying he would fix it since it wasn't running right. During that time Rob's JefForce business moved twice and then shut down. That's when Rob took our Sea Doo with him to his fenced-in yard at home. We found out from a cop serving Rob papers at JetForce what his home address was. There we found our Sea Doo in his backyard!
My husband went over there yesterday and left a note on Rob's front door saying we wanted our Sea Doo. Rob called my husband and said he wasn't in the business any more to fix it. He said if we don't pick-up the Sea Doo by the next day he was going to get rid of it. The cops told us he has a suspended driver's license and is wanted in Ohio. He also has other pending lawsuits. The cop said he is a "scum bag." At least maybe he is humiliated now - his neighbors were out in full force during the handcuffing today.
