If you paid for your purchase with a credit card, contact your credit card company ASAP and file a dispute for the charges. Just speak with the customer service department and let them know the items you received were not as described. You will need a printout of the auction, your receipts from UPS where you tried to return the items and I would suggest getting a 2nd opinion from a professional tire or rim company in your area stating that the rims are used and bent and not able to be used. You must contact the credit card company within 90 days of the transaction date of the charge. Good luck!!

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Gaetano. I've been ripped on E Bay too. The best way to protect yourself on large ticket items purchased on E Bay is the use of an escrow service. There is information and tutorials on E Bay on using an escrow agent, and several agents are listed / suggested. . Using an escrow service does cost extra, and the seller should be asked prior to bidding if he/she will participate in an escrow sale. The (escrow) charges are commonly paid by the buyer, but the seller may pay all or part. This is another thing to work out with the seller: will the seller share the cost? . Using an escrow agent does slow things down a bit, but the buyer at least gets a chance to inspect what was purchased. If you get crap bent rims, for example, the seller DOESN'T get paid. . Really expensive items ($800.?...$2000.?)often DEMAND the use of an escrow agent. If the seller won't submit to this process, view it as a red flag requiring caution with the deal and seller.
