My daughter took her car in for an oil & Filter change and ask that they check the air filter. As she was pulling out of their lot upon completion of the work she saw her engine light was on. She immediately backed up and went in to tell them. They hooked a machine up and told her the light was on because her air filter sensor and that it was nothing they had done...just a coincidence.
The next day the car had to be towed because it wouldn't run. Upon explaining what had happened the day before the business she was towed to openexd the hood, looked at the air filter box and saw a hose unhooked.
Let me see Jiffy Lube...You checked the air filter, said the sensor going on after that was just a coincidence but you had nothing to do with it.
Then when I called to complain that she could have been hurt when her car stopped on the highway (I'm a concerned mother 8 hours away from her college daughter) and they should have checked the work they had just done before telling her it was a coincidence, I was hung up on.
We'll see what the corporate office has to say, if they decide to follow up on my complaint. I'm not holding my breath from the sound of other reviews on other Jiffy Lube's it sounds like the corporate office doesn't care either.
