Jim Laabs Music ripoff, defective instrument, severely rude treatment, incompetent, dishonest Stevens Point Wisconsin
I was told by Mr. Troy Laabs that an exchange was allowed at first. I never expected to receive a defective concertina, which I paid top dollar for and when I asked for a refund becuase of how hostile he was over the phone, he said "Forget it, you're not getting a refund." So I asked him to at least give me an exchange
and his response was "I don't know why you people are harassing me. Why are you calling me, just send the thig back and we'll take care of it." However, he insisted that he'd only repair it and would not exchange it and kept using the most ignorant phrases like "Whatever" and "So what, who cares?" severl times through out our conversation. I seriously don't understand how they can claim to be a professional music store. It's as if some
bad mannered rock band runs that store. The only thing that's professional about this place is their web site, which is why I though they were somewhat professional. Troy is completely ignorant when it comes to his instruments. He couldn't answer a simple question re: the thub loops coming undone and then when the button that only blew in one direction was discovered on the
concertina, his manager Jeff said they're ALL that way and that's the way the instrument is supposed to be. I'm not what possessed him to think that ridiculous line would work somehow.
These guys seriously need to be reported the BBB of Wisconsin and if I don't get every single penny back, I definately intend on filing a comlaint. Please warn all about dealing with these guys. Hopefully, they won't take advantage of people and rip them off too much longer.
