JK Harris is up to no good after a class action lawsuit. I am greatful for the internet and how we expose this company. I gave JK Harris $3000 to do an OIC. JK Harris took advantage of this class action lawsuit and my contract was cancelled as a result. They did nothing to help me.

I ended up filing an OIC and negiotated with the IRS on my own. NOt bad as I paid only $3000 on the OIC instead of $25,000. Taxpayers are much better off filing their own OIC's than having a tax resolution firm scam them for thousands of dollars. I had hired JK Harris in SEpt 2004. JK Harris is one of the most fraudlent companies in the US taking advantage of taxpayers facing an epidemic (wage garnishments and property liens).

We need to write local government officials, newpapers and the TV media to expose JK Harris & Co. fraudlent practice. This company has helped a few taxpayers by providing services as a front and ripped off a majority of AMericans. This is how they are fooling the government as helping 5% of taxpayers but ripping off 95% majority.

I have some good ideas too. I scheduled an appointment with JK Harris by going online on JK Harris webpage. I put on the webpage that I have an enormous debt to the IRS. The very next day I get a call from JK Harris and he schedules me an appt with a tax professional (really a traveling salesperson). I have an appt for Thursday May 23 at one of their nationwide offices in California. I am planning to take a tape recorder into this appt. I am planning to ask their rep of his credentials. I was told that I will be meeting with a tax professional and next thursday I find out if this is a lie. THe truth about their nationwide offices is that JK Harris & Co rents out an office space or cubicle once a week. JK Harris rents out a space in a nice building but only for one day a week. THe salesperson travels from one rented space in one city to another rented space in another city. This is why you cannot schedule an appt for the other 4 days of the week in that particular city. Now I know what is meant by the traveling salesperson.

I am going to be the worst nightmare that this traveling salesperson will ever see. I will expose this company further and will put them out of business. While I am at the appointment, I will distribute copies of complaints to others that have scheduled appointments. I think I am going to have some fun with this. I think we all should set some appointments and ruin the day for their salespeople and further expose this company.

Lets stop their efforts right here, right now. Mr harris needs to be jailed and they should take away all his assets.

Hello MEHTAB, This is how to getyour money back. Unfortuneately alot of people grumble about what JK harris has donetothem, but mostof them don't want toput in the effort to gettheir funds back. It's really fairly easy, just a little time consuming. File a claim in small small claims court for the maximum amount allowed by law, whether they owe it to you or not. In CA I think it's $5,000. Name JK Harris as the defendant, and the sales person you delt with as the codefendant. If that sales person isn't there,name another one, that part is very important. Send the papers to the office where you met. When you go to the hearing, ask for "Treble Damages" (3x's) the amount, Based on the lies and deception. You will win, for JK thinks they are above the law, and never appear. If they do appear, it would be the stupid sales person, and they must explain why they lied, and didn't perform as to the contract, and haven't paid you. JK still won't pay, so after 30 days, go back to court, and ask for a "Capias", naming the sales person. You now have an arrest warrent, to drag their a*s into court to answer why you haven't been paid. Send a copy via fax or mail (certified) to JK Harris attention Monica Linder, asking where it would be most convenient to arrest the sales person, home or work. Another option is to get a Writ of Execution. Now you can attach JK's assets, but everything in the so called office is leased, so you need to have the sheriff attach the cash as the customers pay. Either process works, and you should get your funds, plus the enjoyment of being a PIA to JK. Peter Salem, MA

I sent an email to Josh Baker threatening to take them to small claims court and putting them out of business. I sent this email early this morning and they responded right away. I could not get one of their case specialist to call me back that quickly. That just shows you about customer service at JK Harris & Co. I threaten to take them to court and I get call from MR Wallace within 8 hours of sending an email to Josh Baker. Hey Peter from Salem, do you have any advice for me in how to deal with this matter. And who is this Mr Wallace I like to know before I talk to him. mehtab

As a former salesperson for JK Harris, I can verify that JK Harris does rent office space in various cities for 1 day per week and the salespeople (certainly not tax professionals) travel from city to city. Sort of like the old snake oil shows in more ways than one. In fact, the salesperson has to be in a certain office on a certain day even if no appointments are scheduled. That is in case the appointment center can get someone to go in on the same day. If a large number of people scheduled appointments for a number of weeks and then just didn't show up, the salespeople would soon get fired for not producing enough average revenue per appointment or quit because they could not make enough money. That is because the salesperson gets docked for every appointmant that does not actually show up, even though the salesperson has no control over the situation. You see, JK Harris is an equal opportunity crook. He will hose employees just as easily as customers.
