JK Harris & Company ripoff. Purchased their advertised services. We qualified and they did NOTHING. Won't return calls or mailings. Charleston South Carolina
We signed with JK Harris & Company over 3 1/2 years ago. We kept them updated with any and all changes to our situation. Our contact center (San Antonio, Tx) CLOSED without notifying us. We were eventually directed to contact the Charleston, SC Office. We've had several "case specialists", and waited days, weeks, for call backs. On the rare call back, case specialist evaded questions, stalled, requested more info, had us resend previous forms, even though we had sent these forms to them. They prepared our OIC's( Offer In Compromise) with errors; wrong soc. sec. #'s, years OIC covered, and calculations that did not match info we sent them. When questioned about this we were told several times to just sign our documents as is, they knew what they were doing and how to handle the IRS and submit our info. We relied on the Tax Professionals of JK Harris and it's representatives. After checking the internet we found out we were among many complainants of JK Harris. We recently wrote a letter demanding our money back in 30 days, (no reply, its been over 30 days) and completed a BBB complaint. (Events and efforts have been condensed for this report, actual events would fill a book)
