Complaint Review: Joellina mini ranch.com - Internet

All of the information pertaining to this Lady and her husband are true!! They are harassers and if you don't agree with them or their breeding practices then they will harass you! They sell sick pigs and don't care about doing the right thing. Beware! Do not buy from these people. They promise size and lie to their customers. The pigs get bigger than they should. They clip teeth and dock tails. I've spoken with numerous people that have had horrible experiences with them. Watch Out!!!

This is Taylor Riley from Texas Riley Ranch, I just wanted to add that I had no idea she would be turning around and selling all of my pigs. I knew she wanted to breed and I was getting out of breeding. She purchased SEVERAL pigs from me. From what I've heard, her pigs are fed chicken feed, which she told me she kept them on high protein feed while the females were pregnant. Chicken feed can kill pigs, I have not seen those actions take place myself as I always met her somewhere to deliver pigs, or she came to our family ranch. She did tell me that she purchased pigs from a lady, sold one of the adults whom died at the new home so she "gave her another free of cost". I offer the same guarantee, but mine are bred here.

If she even owns any of my pigs, I do not know. But I traded pigs with her in the very beginning and she estimated him to be 25-30lb full grown and he was reaching 30lb at 6 months and was already as big as some of my full grown pigs. When I told her, she said it was my fault and I wasn't feeding him right. Well my others stayed small... She even told me my male I sold her was tiny tiny at that age. Now, I DID sell her my biggest female pig who was over 50lb. She's purchased her and the whole litter from me. She saw her before hand, and took her anyways then started telling people I bred big pigs. No... I only had a few bigger pigs.

When I told her about some of the people who came to me to buy from me instead of her, I've heard several rumors about her threatening to sue the clients. And she even threated to sue ME! "She has a lawyer in her family who would represent her and she would sue me". Then after that was settled, she calmed down and started being nice again. After finding this, I can see why. Having so many other breeders against you would probably not suit well as far as references.

Anyways, I just thought I would get my word in. I knew she would sell the piglets, there's no point in a breeder keeping an entire litter... But I did not know she would be selling the adults. Me personally, would not buy from her again.

They are still harassing and more victims have come forward.  Call the Bastrop Texas Sheriff to find out about all the harassment.  The person from Pubelo that is posting is a liar.  There is proof in writing that she was also investigating Lina and her farm.  She even stated that she had pictures that are MUCH WORSE than the picture that was posted here.  Lina had her "friend's husband" who is an animal control officer to come investigate her ranch.  How convenient for her to have a friend in the right place but from what I understand even they have backed away after Lina lied that they got their pig from her.  Animal Control is looking into this and will be making sure the "friend" actually investigated the ranch.  There was a report made in July 2012 about Lina's ranch.  The Bastrop County Sheriff can also verify this.  The person she is blaming for being me only met this lady in 2013 so doubtful that she could have made a report on her in July 2012 so again, they like to BLOW SMOKE.  If you want to see the harassing text messages and FB messages that both this woman Lina and her husband Joel sent to multiple people and a copy of where they broke the law trying to extort $9000 from another breeder please email me at "[email protected]" and I will be glad to send them to you.  I also have proof where they shipped pigs without the USDA required health certificates breaking federal and state laws.  I have pictures where they drove pigs across state lines and have verified there were NO health certificates nor did they stop at any agri check point.  This has been reported and hopefully, federal charges will be filed against them.

They like to hang their hat on one customer they harassed.  This customer is who they keep blaming to be me, well I'm not that customer.  They also like to make false slanderous statements about this customer stating that they "are a career criminal and have charges against them".  I investigated this and found that there was a FALSE charge made against this person.  I spoke to the reporter at the magazine they reference.  I also did a search of court records.  It appears that the case was dropped a year ago.  DISMISSED, never tried.  There are other articles that tell a different story.  The reporter I spoke to told me there was way more to the story and that additional articles existed.  She pointed me in the direction and sure enough there were several other articles and it appears that this person was falsely accused for a reason.  Enough about those details.  My point is don't let these harassers, sellers of sick pigs, and just down right bad people fool you.  This case is NOT SETTLED and they continue to harass people as is evidenced in their own words in this report.  I hope the person they are harassing in this report sue them. They are truly slandering this person.  BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!

The wheels are starting to turn...justice will be served.

Did anyone receive a Facebook message from a "Michaeel Stock"?   This account was created by the conspirator in an attempt to turn our past and present customers against us.  This person sends you a message (see photo) that suggests you contact the other 2 breeders/co-conspirators in Durham, Ca and Houston, Tx.

This is clearly about defamation of character to shift sales and now proven to cause a financial loss.

We need additional people to come forward - please e-mail [email protected]   It is especially helpful if you were planning to purchase and decided to back out due to this specific message.

Thank you to everyone that has come forward with the truth.

We believe this report is about a few breeders conducting defamation of character strategies using Facebook accounts: pigart sams/mini pig discussion (among other fabricated accounts) to defame others and gain additional market share.  Joellina.com is not the only victim, you will find the same reports on Angela at Posh pigs (filed the exact same day!) and now another breeder.  In all of our situations the perpetrators have been placing excessive calls to our local law enforcement, animal control, local feed stores, and Facebook clients.  Who is really being harassed?

In the meantime, we ask that everyone uninvolved remain in a neutral position until all of the information unfolds.  Thank you, Joel & Lina Haygood

Don't let these people fool you.  I bought a pig from them and it was highly misrepresented and then when I asked questions I was harassed too!  Lina and Joel Haygood both harassed me.  I believe everyword of what the complaintant is saying in these reports.  These are not good people.  I did call the Bastrop Sheriff and there are complaints on these people.  I was told that they are under investigation and for me to complain in my own city, get a report number, and then to call it into the Bastrop Sheriff.  The complaints are piling up.



Too many victims out there for all this not to be true.

Consumers can read all of the misinformation and fabricated lies and choose to believe or not to believe and that's ok.

We love our animals and spend all of our time with them, which is why we started this part-time business to help cover expenses. We have a business license and are tax paying citizens.

My wife Lina and I both have business degrees and have owned our own businesses in the past. It's an absurd notion that someone would intentionally harass a customer giving us money. We have dozens of repeat buyers that would not return if these allegations were legit.

This boils down to one childish 50-year old woman (that we didn't even do business with) stirring up drama on Facebook and using friends to fabricate conversations that never existed. There are a few real conversations I noticed had been cut, embellished with lies, then pasted directly on Facebook. Groups created "mini pig discussion" designed to build an audience to read all of these lies. Anyone is welcome to call bastrop sheriffs department - we have clean records and good intentions.

Bottom line - free speech and freedom to believe what you want. Thank you to the individuals recognizing this absurdity and posting their positive personal experiences.

Lina takes great care of her animals, and follows state and county regulations carefully.  I know of many people, buyers and veterinarians alike, who can vouch for Lina's honesty and good treatment of pigs.  This poster seems to resent the fact that Lina charges a fair price for her pigs, and is obviously targeting her competition by hitting below the belt.  She is making repeated harassing phone calls to Lina's home.  I recommended Lina to contact a lawyer about a potential defamation claim against this woman, because she is obviously spreading false rumors.  The fact that she has never had any direct dealings with Lina, never been to Lina's home, and is calling Lina crazy, shows the emptiness of her claims.  Lina is a law-abiding person, and this woman is making unfounded claims to get under Lina's skin, to try to eliminate the competition that Lina presents by doing a good job at a good price.  There is no substance to anything this woman is saying.  She is just finger-pointing and using all caps and saying silly accusations.  Calling someone crazy is a personal insult, not a consumer report. 
Lina and her husband have a hobby ranch, and they invite anyone out to the ranch to see the pigs. 
Readers can see the difference between empty deceit and real reviews. 

ok i have brought in to this whole pig dramma from just liking a facebook page and then trying to figure out  who was right and who was wrong and let me make this clear from my experience somebody is try to sabotage lina her husband and business they have hacked my computer and harassed me lied on me and caused so many problems i have had to file a police report  ...LIna has done nothing but be true to her word and give me a lot of help and advice on care of pigs and other animals  i can not believe any of this nonsense

I was contacted by many group members and non-group members who have had issues with this person. Both sides were asked to provide proof that what they were saying really happened. I received so much information in my inbox that I spent the last two days mainly reading this stuff. The accusations against her were as follows:

1. She and her husband harass anyone who disagrees with them, or asks questions about pigs they purchase from them, or ask to come to their ranch to see the pigs. That when she was blocked from the people she was harassing Facebook accounts, that she created other user accounts to continue to harass these people and they had to block those accounts as well.

2. She has rescued pigs and then sold them as breeders, even shipping them across state lines without microchips or health certificates as required by the USDA. She also misrepresented these pigs and did not disclose that they were rescues.

3. She has shipped pigs across state lines that were infected with lice (a common problem with pigs) but against USDA regulations to ship in that condition and that pigs were also sold and shipped with mange.

4. She sold a pig that she represented as being born at her ranch to her breeder pigs, but that really came from another ranch in Texas where she was purchasing the piglets she was selling. She refused to give the parent names or birthdate of the pig to the person who purchased the pig and also shipped this pig across state lines without health certificate or microchip, again this is against USDA regulations.

5. That her animals were living in unclean conditions.

6. That she feeds chicken scratch instead of proper pig diet to her pigs. That she is withholding food to keep the piglets small.

7. That she was previously using a local feed store as her address until she was called out on it and will not allow ranch visits. That she meets potential pet owners at Pet Smart and the feed store.

8. Pigs are being shipped under age.

9. That she took pictures from FB off other's pages and then text them terrible things about their pictures and even sent the picture around to other to make fun of and taunt the people she was harassing and their families.

During my investigation I was provided with pictures of a ton of inbox messages from FB accounts and text messages that were harassing in nature and that were sent to multiple people by both Lina and her husband. I was provided with proof that some even spent money to block Lina and her husband from contacting them on their cell phones. MULTIPLE people blocked Lina, her husband, and all of her other FB identities from their FB accounts. I contacted Lina and she actually talked with me under several FB user names.

In her defense, she did say, when I questioned this, that one account was personal for only friends and family. She never said what the other accounts were used for? She was given an exorbitant amount of time to tell her side of the story and provide proof to back up what she told me. I was never provided with one shred of proof by her. I kept putting off my report to try to give her the opportunity to provide the proof and all but begged her to provide it, yet as of the posting of this report, I still have not one shred of proof from her. My findings are as follow:

1. Lina provided names of references. The phone number to one of the references kept being busy and when I googled it, it was a fake identities web site. I googled the name of the reference myself and called them. It was the person's work apparently and I was told off by them and they refused to give me a reference on Lina and even hung up on me. This same lady was posting on Lina's page last evening and Lina said that was her neighbor. This lady was even posting that she hung up on me and told me off. Yet, she refused to give a reference on Lina. I was also accused of looking this ladies number up by Lina later, even though she provided the ladies name as a reference to me in writing.

2. Another reference, a local feed store, said they could not give me a reference on Lina but that she sure did talk a lot. They did verify that she does buy a lot of supplies there for her multitude of animals.

3. Another lady, who seems to be a friend on Lina's page reported that she has bought 12 pigs from Lina and has been to her ranch. She said she approves of Lina's ranch. I noticed this lady posting a lot on Lina's page too. This lady reports that Lina has been very helpful to her with the pigs she has purchased.

4. The husband, from the reference in #1 above, is a local animal control person. He was also given to me as a reference by Lina. I looked up the animal control phone number myself and called him. He is going to be at Lina's house today at 3. He did verify that there had been previous reports on Lina in the past, but thought her ranch had checked out. I felt he was very defensive toward me and seemed biased toward Lina, a little too much for me to believe he was not somehow connected and since it appears him and his wife are friends of Lina's (Lina even reported that they were her friend and I saw for myself his wife talking with Lina on her page last evening). But, I have to assume since he was in an official capacity when I spoke to him that he should have been honest about the animals well being. He did say he thought her ranch was fine.

5. Enough messages were provided to me that prove that Lina and her husband have harassed these people. Most people asked not to be named but they were willing to talk to me and provide proof. These people are a collection of pet owners, former clients of Lina's, breeders, and some were friends on FB of the people she was harassing. She harassed people with both FB and text messages. Some of the messages were very ugly and threatening in nature. All of the people asked her to stop prior to blocking her. In the messages from her husband he threatens that he is in law enforcement, yet I have no proof this is true. It was reported that he is security for Target, but I did not try to verify that information. She did taunt one lady saying she took her picture off FB and called her and her husband names. It was verified that she sent this picture around to at least several other people encouraging them to use it to harass and taunt.

6. The pictures of the pigs that are on her Joellina FB page show approximately 25 pigs living all together in a pen with very little grass and no shelter, food or water shown. There are pigs of all sizes and there is no way that she has a controlled breeding environment if this is her breeder pigs. I have not been to her ranch to see for myself and she refused to provide proof with other pictures that there was shelter.

7. At least one pig that she got from a petting zoo was sold to a breeder in California, shipped across state lines pregnant, with no USDA health certificate or microchip. The person buying the pig did not know the pig had been a rescue from a petting zoo.

8. Lina harassed the lady that wanted to know the birthdate of her pig that she purchased from Lina and this pig was not raised by Lina even though Lina represented the pig as one of her own stock.

9. Lina was contacting multiple breeders trying to start drama between the breeders. There was enough evidence of her messaging people to prove that she had some sort of motive and those that did not cooperate with her she began to harass and they too ended up blocking Lina from their FB or cell phone.

10. She has advised clients to feed chicken scratch and that is what she provided to new pig owners with their pig.
11. There were verified reports of people receiving pigs with lice but I could not find anyone to confirm that pigs had mange when received.

In summation, I can not say that the reports of Lina abusing animals is true. One local animal control person, who Lina provided the name for and admitted is a personal friend to her and her husband, says her ranch has checked out in the past. The pictures on her FB page do not look like good conditions to me and many others but I can not say that animal abuse or starvation is taking place at her ranch.

There is way too much proof of both her and her husband harassing many, many people that I have to conclude that this accusation to be 100% true and I believe may be the driving force behind a lot of the on going drama on FB that is currently taking place. By the end of my investigation I even ended up blocking Lina because she started trying to harass me. Lina herself told me that she does not have to follow USDA standards because she does not sell pigs for food. That is not my understanding of the USDA regulations so I do believe there is enough proof and by her own admission, to show that she is not following USDA regulations when pigs are being shipped across state lines. Pigs she has rescued have been sold as breeders, pigs she has sold and represented as pigs she has raised obviously came from another breeder.

She did take FB pictures of another person and harass them with the pictures calling them and their family members names in text messages. There are many, many complaints about her and her farm on multiple company sites on the internet. Ripoff reports had multiple reports as well as two other sites. The reports do not look to be from the same person so I believe multiple people made the complaints. Lina also calls herself a HOBBY ranch and calls her animals her COLLECTION. If she is indeed a hobby ranch then she should not have any profit off of these animals yet she repeatedly told me that all these reports were hurting her business and means to make money.

Conclusion: I would be very careful if I decided to purchase a pet from this person. You should check her out on the internet and insist on visiting her ranch. While her animals may or may not be healthy, you may not be assured you are getting a piglet from parents o her ranch or that she has any idea on their blood lines. It is guaranteed that if you cross her you will be harassed and she will not stop until you are forced to block her.

We believe the author/subject of this complaint is named Lynn E**** (report originally originated from Sherwood, Arkansas).  There is no validation to the claim and is completely based on false accusations. 

As an added measure, we invited animal control and a veterinarian out to review our pigs and mini ranch and have been CLEARED of any and all wrong doing.  Feel free to contact "[email protected]" with any questions - we will be happy to provide references of vet and animal control.  Note: We spend 7 days a week ensuring our piglets have proper nutrition, vaccinations, etc.  The photo IS ours - we let our pigs run around during the day to get exercise.

The alleged author, Lynn E****, also a past potential customer, purchased a piglet elsewhere that became sick.  E**** has been harassing several breeders that we know - therefore, we refused to sell E**** a piglet, which made her angry.  E**** is a career criminal that embezzled over 600k from a company, according to the Arkansas Business review...google "Lynn E****" to follow up.

We believe she placed this false report, as well as created bogus Facebook accounts (designed for harassment), as well as called and harassed our local feed store and references. (blocked phone numbers have been traced back to Sherwood, Arkansas and police reports are getting filed).  We also have texts from her containing harassment and even racial remarks.

Again, it is our personal opinion that Lynn E**** is responsible for this report as well as all the other harassment issues.

Everything that is being said on here is 100% truth.  I had same experience with Lina and Joel Haygood.  Buyers Beware.
