It all started in August of 2001. I took my car to John Miles Chevrolet to be serviced under warranty.

After getting my brake pads replaced a few months prior to showing up at John Miles Chevrolet, the brake and ABS lights suddenly appeared. They weren't on before my brakes were replaced, so this was very backwards!

There were a few other things that were wrong with the car; they fixed those problems the same day. The service techs couldn't figure out the problem with my brake lights. I was told that a part had to be ordered and that I would be notified as soon the part was delivered.

Weeks later, I received a call stating that my part was in. I go to school and work, both full-time, so I had to find the time to take my car in and wait for it to be serviced. They refused to give me a courtesy car.

I waited for my car to be "serviced under warranty." After waiting for a few hours, I was told that they were not able to fix the problems with my brake lights being on and that they had to order another part.

I was called back into the dealership several times over the next year. Sometimes, because of my busy schedule, I could not come to the dealership as soon as they called me. To my dismay, they could never figure out what the problem was.

I took it upon myself to pay $75 for another dealership, Stone-Mountain Chevrolet, to perform a diagnostic test. They immediately told my BCM needed to be replaced; a $1,000 job.

I continued to go back and forth with John Miles. Finally, they figured out the problem!? I was then told that because my car was no longer under warranty, I had to get approval from General Motors in order for them to service my vehicle.

I contacted GM and was told that since my car had been in an automobile accident, they would not cover the service. I argued that this was not acceptable. My car-accident occured 4 months after my first visit to John Miles; they knew this since John Miles Collision Center fixed my car after the accident. I was then asked to fax proof that this was the case. No problem! I had all of the information from most of my visits (even though I know they keep all the service information in the computer).

You, will not believe what happend next. General Motors then refered me BACK to the service manager at John Miles. To make matters even worst, they said that I would have to pay for the diagnostic test. Yeah, right! They performed a diagnostic test before they referred me to GM.

The bottom line: It is March 2003. I am a young girl and have been taken advantage of. My car was brought in BEFORE my accident so my accident did not have anything to do with the brake and ABS light constantly remaining on. John Miles Chevrolet does not want to fix my car, but, they are obligated to. They are just trying to make money. They are not focused on customer service and are not fulfilling General Motors 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

I WILL take them to court if they give me anymore BS.

If you want quality customer service, DO NOT take your car to JOHN MILES CHEVROLET. If you want to spend money, John Miles is the place for you.
