Just over a year ago, I had signed my daughter up with this office. Ms. Tamela seemed pleasant at first, although a bit over the top-phony. After my daughter went to several classes, she said that it was "boring" because all they really did was play Duck-Duck Goose. I was livid. This is NOT what I paid for nor could I see how this game was anywhere near relative to what my daughter was going there for. I had mentioned my concerns not only to the "teachers" (who mind you were under 18) and they said if I had any concern to mention this to Tamela. I did. The response I got was that this allows the kids to be themselves in a controlled environment. It breaks them out of their shell. Whatever. I was also concerned that tennis shoes were not allowed in classes because they were not appropriate attire. Okay, so you have little girls wearing slippery dress shoes, playing Duck-Duck Goose on an extremely slippery uncarpeted floor - no padding to speak of. Isn't this a bit of a concern in terms of liability?

Now, there was another issue that caught my eye immediately. The portfolio that is handed out from the very beginning was riddled with typos. I brought this to Tamela's attention and was told I received the "older version" and that her mom had revised it. She gave me a newer version - although I was still stumped as to why a "new customer" would be given an old handout. Anyway, I received the "revised" copy and noticed only one page had been added. Same typos still existed throughout the many pages. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for a company claiming to be so stellar. This just confirmed to me that Ms. Tamela was about as bright as she came across - which was not bright at all. I was tempted to call the headquarters but figured fate would take over at some point. I withdrew my daughter from the classes, asked for a partial refund, and was refused. Yes, I was angry - to say the least - however dealing with this franchise I felt was absolutely not worth it....Tamela is full of it, almost as much as she is full of herself...and other things better left unsaid.

After the experience, I checked out the facility in Orange County and was blown away by the professionalism there. The difference between the two facilities was amazing - and I honestly don't see how the Corona location, and Ms. Tamela, are still existing. It's a shame.

BUYER BEWARE......Duck-Duck Goose should never need to be paid for in order to play....especially at a school for modeling/acting/talent.
