Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Johnny was hired by our company do DJ a corporate event.  He then called our customer, told them incorrect information about our agency and told the customer he would do it a little cheaper if the cancelled with us and just went through him.  This is a classic scam used by predatory DJs and vendors, it's dishonest and shows the true character of that vendor.  The unfortunate part is that the customer is out their non-refundable deposit and still has to pay the DJ.  I would not recommend working with Johnny due to dishonnesty and predatory behavior.

This company is dirty... They write eroneous reports on hard working people, and also they do not pay their DJ's with Bounced Checks...

This is Johnny (Hook) Adame...  The Company Premier Event Services Hired me to play a Birthday Party on Friday Night December 5th. We sign a contract and everything for the event a usual practice. They said that I should receive payment for the event by Tuesday December 2nd or so.  The days started to pass... Wed December 3rd Etc.  I called them as well as wrote an email (Have proof) to the event planner asking about payment for the event. Then Thursday comes and go's... worried about the event I contacted the client late on Thursday night telling her that I have not received payment as promised for her event for the event planner (David R. @ Premier Events)... she also tried contacting them on Thursday, to no avail.  Friday morning the morning of the event the Client and I talked again... she said she would just pay me directly so her event would not be ruined.

About late mid-morning finally the event planner is calling the both of us... I tell him I have not received payment so other arrangements were forced to be made with the client.  He sends both of us a tracking number for USPS letter that is supposed to contain the payment.  No Payment arrives as I leave for the gig at 5:30 or so...  I go, play the gig and everyone has a great time and the clients was more that satisfied for the performance.

When I get home at 1:00am the USPS letter is in my mailbox, it must have been delivered after I left for the gig.  The payment is sent regular mail on Monday December 1st... The payment should have been sent overnight to arrive at the time they stated I would receive the payment.  They should have known better to ship a time sensitive package regular mail when this party was looming at the end of the week, in December, the busiest time of the year for the postal service.

I was going the send the package back to them un-opened, but now that they have ripped off the client by not refunding her money for them I decided to open it... they sent a regular check for these services which was probably cancelled.  They are in the wrong by making such accusations and they should refund the money back to the client. Besides… they sent me the clients name, I made initial contact with her to discuss nothing but the gig itself, never making any attempt to do what these awful people say they I/We did. Not only till the night before the gig, was it ever considered to take over the gig, as to not ruin her party.

I am contacting my attorney in regards to their wrongful posting, perhaps a lawsuit for defamation of character is in order here... especially since the client herself is on my corner and know exactly what happened...  She said she would post against Premier Event service as well, and would testify in a defamation case against these folks.

My advice to you all at Premier Event Services is that you remove this posting as soon as possible, they only thing that was done wrong here is that you did not send the payment overnight as discussed… especially sending a regular check as to give it time to clear at the bank.

Unlike you all there at Premier Event Services… I have class and respect for my clients and profession!

Good day!

The company making the report against DJ Johnny Hook is incorrect.  The customer cancelled the company making the complaint due to the lack of response from said company after numerous attempts by both concerning the event the day prior.  DJ Johnny Hook fulfilled his obligation unlike the company that is reporting him as a scam.  DJ Johnny Hook is a professional, unlike the company that does not coorispond with their customer nor the DJ they hire in a timely manner.  The event happened and the customer was very happy with the services provided by DJ Johnny Hook and not the company hired originally to do the event.  Who's the scam?
