jones west ford robert mendez BEWARE jones west ford , Internet
Beware of the same old USED CAR DEALER SCAMS used at jones west ford in reno nevada. We purchased a vehicle from a someone who we thought was a friend but he turned out to be a typical used car salesman.
robert mendez sold us a 2011 vehicle that had several problems they would not take care of unless we were to take on a bigger payment, he kept telling us come you have good credit, he new our financial situation and that I was not working due to a injury and we needed a reliable car. We tried several times to get the problems resolved but they just gave us the runaround. He bent us over good letting us buy someone else's problem.
When trying to get the problems with the car resolved we found out they had slipped in on the contract the old "UNDERCOATING" SCAM, they charged us $200.00 for something that was never mentioned to us, The vehicle we bought from them does not have a square inch of undercoating on it. I asked robert about it and he tried to act like it wasn't on the contract and then said we are supposed to schedule it for the undercoating ! This man was supposed to be our friend ! if he lied about that what else did he lie about or try to slip by us ?
Also I found out after we bought the car robert talked my wife into writing a referral for him without me knowing before we were even done with the car deal.
Because of this salesman and jones west fords deception we will never buy a car from any dealer again.
