J.R. Brothers Financial threatened and harassed rip off Phoenix Arizona
On 7/3/03,a representative from J.R.Brothers Financial called me at work. I owed a medical bill of $69.33. I was threatened and harassed at work adn it got even worse after I pleaded several times for them to not call me at work. I was told that I could send in a post-dated check and they would not report the account to the state attorney. If that happened I would owe an additional $750.
I agreed to send in a payment. I sent in a check dated for the 18th of July. The check was deposited when they recieved it and it cleared on July 8th. I am very angry over being lied to. I have made a complaint with the BBB and hopefully this won't happen again. If you are ever asked to send in a post-dated check, DON'T DO IT. Companies are not supposed to deposit them before the date but J.R. Brothers Financial did it anyway.
