JRs Pupsnstuff Jean Rhoten They continue to sell dogs that are mis-labeled as different breeds, their dogs are sick and they accept donations for animals surgeries that never happen. They have too many dogs in foster homes Brookfield, Wisconsin
This rescue often houses too many dogs and has been known to have litters of puppies in a barn in the winter. They often receive sick dogs and do not offer full disclosure to their "adopters". Their fees are very high and often the donations they receive do not get to the dog it was intended for. They rescue dogs from the southern states and refuse dogs in our own backyard.
The owner, Jean Rhoten , often lies to customers and withholds info about the dogs temperaments...that has resulted in people getting bit and other dogs being attacked and killed and dogs being put down. Her own family has been injured in dog fights at her house. She has 7 of her own and often there are fights among them. They are out of control and something needs to be done! Please be wary of this rescue!!!

Simply the number of listed avaible puppies JRs Pups N Stuff have avaible for adoption, is suspicious.
This "nonprofit" really does appear to be a puppymill in diguise.
Being 2015, I'm surprised that this company is still allowed to list itself as an animal rescue?

Where to start? I suppose the beginning would be best.
"This rescue often houses too many dogs"- I would like to know where these dogs are all being "housed". For example I do have one of the dogs for the rescue "housed" in my home. There are not 50 of them crammed into a crate in my basement, there is one here. Many other fosters have 1 or 2 in their homes as well. Occasionally we have a foster who can take 3 or a pregnant mama and the her babies until they are adopted but I hardly think this qualifies as "housing too many dogs" JRs does not have a cement building somewhere with kennels, all dogs are in various peoples homes.
"has been known to have litters of puppies in a barn in the winter" There is one foster in the organization who does have an outdoor kennel. She did have a mama dog, and there was a litter of puppies all of which happened during the summer months. As the weather cooled, and the pups were old enough they were split up into other foster homes and there were none left come winter. This particular foster ONLY fosters dogs during the warm summer months.
"They often receive sick dogs" Yes, we do receive sick dogs. Many sick dogs come in who might not otherwise make it, but are treated and given proper veterinary care. Dogs and puppies who live in deplorable conditions are not healthy, dogs/puppies who are strays and living on the streets eating garbage or worse are not healthy. But they go to shelters and then come to us and we do give them the best possible care to get them healthy and ready to start a new life.
"do not offer full disclosure to their "adopters"."- Not sure what this means exactly. All dogs are adopted out with a health sheet of when they were given shots and dewormed so adopters know those things too place. If the puppy/dog was sick for some reason, they are informed of that as well. As with any organization that is run by people, mistakes are made, however as a whole the adopters are well informed on the dog they are taking home.
That is just picking apart the first two sentences, which are lots of fabrications and distortions. This report was written by someone who had a personal axe to grind with the director. This person threatened to destroy the directors family, rescue, burn down her home and other things. The report filed was by a very unstable woman and should be taken as such. If you want to know about the kind of rescue this is, call area vets or shelters and find out for yourself.
