This outfit is sending out checks in the amount of $3,550.00--supposedly as partial payment of a $150,000 sweepstakes prize. When I received it, I immediately knew it was a bogus check since it was from "PNC Bank, N.A., Jeanette, PA." I grew up near this town and know that the town's correct spelling is "Jeannette"--2 n's, not one. I called the bank and reported it, but wanted to alert others so they do not become victims of this fraudulent scam.
