I am also a Juniper Bank customer and started my account under a similar promotion. The terms and conditions are clearly stated on the application form that you signed before receiving the credit card! You didn't fill out the application in haste and mail it in without reading the fine print, did you? Well it sounds to me like you did! Someone with a 6-figure income and extensive business knowledge should understand the importance of reading a simple contract before affixing one's signature. Furthermore, you should understand simple ways of getting out of this contract with Juniper - ie., transferring your balance to another credit card and closing your Juniper account. It is not rocket science, my friend! And by the way, not reading the contract from the beginning and failing to understand the terms and conditions does not constitute a rip-off!! It is merely an ID-10-T error!!
