Just Brakes ripoff rip off scam con artists Baytown Texas
I called on Friday to ask if they had brake pad in stock for a 2001 Chrysler Sebring. This trip to hell began when they confirmed that they did in fact have them in stock. They asked me to go in Saturday. I arrived at 11:30. One older African-American man told me he was the first one there that morning and had been waiting for at least 4 hours. This other lady said they tried tellin her husband his car needed more than what really was needed.
Hearing these stories I decided not to wait as long as they had and I had someone pick me up. I was so desperate to get my brake pads changed that I went ahead and left it there. 2 Hours and 30 minutes later I received a call from this guy Erik that works there and he said that he had bad news. He said my brake pads were not in stock when he supposedly had already check on Friday and said they had plenty. Obviously he never checked and all they wanted to do is put some brake pads that were close enought to do the job. When they realized that the brake pads had changed drastically from 2000 to 2001 Chrysler Sebring he had nothing more to say than what he told me.
"Janie , got a gun" (Like the song) "but she has no brakes!!!" That rediculous SOB. Not only that but my the lug nut cover on my rims with the Chrysler emblem (huv caps?) are missing. They took them off and never put them back. I've yet to hear from them to let me know if they found them or not. I'm so sure they will!!! Whatever you do DO NOT GO TO JUST BRAKES!!!!!
