Complaint Review: Just Breaks - Palm Harbor Florida

 I took my 06 Pontiac G6 in to have break work done back at the end of January the first part of Feb of this year, they quoted me almost $900 worth of repairs, however not having that kind of money I worked with them to get just the basics done that I could afford at the time.  When we returned to get the car my wife drove home and when we arrived my wife told me I needed to drive the car because the breaks had no pressure and went all the way to the floor inorder to stop the car. I then drove it around the parking lot and immediately called the location who told me to bring it back in and they'd check it out.  I figured great their going to make sure they didn't miss something.  Ok now is where it gets intresting, on the way back I had to drive down a very busy highway and when I approaced a intersection..a busy one mind you..anyways I started to break to stop only to find out that my breaks went all the way to the floor and the car wasn't slowing down muchless stopping, I had to use my emergency break to stop the car in the middle of the intersection and nearly was t-boned. After managing to make it back to the location they checked the car to find that somehow during their earlier repairs they had "accidentally" managed to puncture the break line in the car and they replaced the break line at no charge..thanks guys..

Later that day I contacted their corporate office to complain about this, hell their "accident" nearly caused me to get into a very serious possibly very bad accident of my own, their regional manager made good on their mistake and had all the work on my car that I couldn't afford to get done at no charge to me, great right?  Well that's what I thought also, however within a month of this work being done my breaks were again squeeling and progressively getting worse, so in May I took it back to find out why new breaks were already squeeling and grinding, after they inspected my car they said that the front calipers had not been replaced and that on the 2nd visit I had opted out of having them replaced, now I ask you..why would I opt out of having them replaced if it was FREE!  Anyways the manager there called the district manager after I made it clear that I had not opted out and that they should have been done the last time the car was there and that this was simply someone there not wanting to do the work.  Well once again Just breaks made good and replaced the front calipers at no charge..again good job Just breaks...Until I drove home...the breaks were squeeling and grinding just as bad only minutes after leaving and having been "repaired" by just breaks. 

I immediately emailed Just breaks to let them know about this but as of this posting have not had any response from them.

This company appears to have some serious issues with quality of work or they simply have employees who couldn't care especially if the customer isn't having to pay for the work.  As I said the first time this happend there is NO reason for a car  to leave there with worse breaks than it arrived with and if the tech accidentally punctured the break line how hard could it have been to notice the large puddle of break fluid on the ground under the car!  I will never recommend this company to anyone not even my worse enemy as they perform shoddy and very dangerous work~
